i bought home in 2018 with fha mortage insurance upfront money will turbo tell me when i can amend my return

How come I couldn't deduct my mortgage insurance premiums as I itemized this year

Mortgage insurance premiums are not currently deductible. The following TurboTax FAQ explains more.  As of now, you will not receive any notification from TurboTax if this changes.
