How can i skip the itemized deductions section and just take standard deduction. I incorrectly input i bought a home at the beginning and cant proceed without entering ?

Even though TurboTax will ask you questions about home mortgage interest and property taxes because you indicated that you own a home, you should be able to skip those sections and not enter any information.  Just look carefully at your options on the screen to be able to navigate around these sections.

If nothing is entered, then the program will choose the standard deduction for your return.
