Same for the EIC ... it is on a sliding scale based off your earned income and total AGI ... for the 2020 return you can use the 2019 earned income amount if it gets you a better result ... follow the screen instructions in the EIC section.

I am wondering why I wouldn't be getting the entire $2,500 American Opportunity Credit for my son in his 2nd year of college? instead, it's giving me $757.
