How do I update my information and will I get the tax credit?

Hi, 

When filing your return simply answer the questions about your new baby as they appear. If your baby qualifies as your dependent and if you qualify to get the credit then it will be calculated for you. Within the TurboTax software be  sure to pay special attention to the question asking how long the baby lived with you. Even though you have a newborn you can indicate that the baby lived with you all year if the newborn lived with you from September-December of 2021.
