Form 8621 for Indian Mutual Fund

I purchased in 2023 a mutual fund in India. I have income from it as yet. Do I need to file Form 8621?

@pizzatail , I cannot see how it relates to you  --- there is nothing to report till there is any distribution to you. ( PFIC distribution ) -- only then would you need  the form

However, this investment  ( which is semiliquid ) may come under FATCA regs  and therefore you may have to report this  ( form 8938 )
