what if i do not have a form 1098 from my lender
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You may be able to log into your account online. If not, call the lender and ask for a duplicate. If you have a year end escrow statement (analysis of your payments and escrow payouts) it should have the interest and property tax payments listed.
Your lender should have issued or have available to you the Form 1098 by the end of January. It is often included as part of your January mortgage statement.
As suggested by user MikeinSC, you should contact your lender for a copy. Sometimes just calling your lender you can hear the information on an automated system.
For more information, see the following TurboTax article: Where do I enter my 1098 mortgage interest statement?
