Fix property tax issue

Claims there's an issue with the amount we paid on 2021 property tax, but it perfectly matches our tax form from the mortgage. Any suggestions?

Turbotax has no way of knowing what you paid, there's no cross-check it can do. What exactly is the error message or problem?

Keep in mind that the total tax on Schedule A is limited to $10,000.  You may deduct up to $10,000 ($5,000 if married filing separately) for a combination of property taxes and either state and local income taxes or sales taxes.

You can change your entry by using the information below.

If you made this entry through the Form 1098 mortgage statement you can take the following steps:

• With your TurboTax account open search (upper right) for 1098 and select the 
•  to link in the search results.
• Follow the prompts to enter your 1098 info by changing the property tax box
• Clear the box for property tax to try the other entry

If you made the entry directly into the property tax box under Deductions & Credits

• With your TurboTax account open search (upper right) for property tax and select the Jump to link in the search results.
• Follow the prompts to correct your property tax entry
