Federally Declared Natural Disaster

Turbotax is good in responding to Yes/No questions and then take you to areas according to the appropriate response.   The question asked is this: "Were either of you affected by a natural disaster in 2019?" The correct response for us was "Yes, we were affected by a Federally Declared natural disaster in 2019." After we select "continue", Turbotax continues without guiding us to enter any information about the disaster.  We are left "high & dry". Where do we go to enter disaster information?

You can enter your casualty losses in the "Casualties and Thefts" section of TurboTax, which you will find under "Other Deductions and Credits" in the "Deductions and Credits" section of TurboTax.

Thank you for the information. It was useful.  However, it would have been easier had TurboTax, upon receiving an affirmative to the question "Did you experience a loss due to a Federally Declared Natural Disaster", open up a link to "Casualties and Thefts" section of TurboTax directly.
