Federal withheld

In 2019 I made 5965.5 from my part time job and 250.07 was my federal withholding but in 2020 I made 8864.53 and only 47.79 was withheld??? This is the same employer, does anyone have any ideas??!!!!!

Ask your employer why they withheld less.   Did you change the W-4 at work that tells them how much you want them to withhold?

I didn’t change absolutely anything at all, and when I did ask she said it was due to some tax changes but that still seems like a big difference

If you want to change the amount that the employer is withholding from your paychecks you can complete a new W-4:
