Claiming alimony, ex spouse ssn invalid. starts with 0, divorce date 01/10/2018. ??

This was a glitch that has now been corrected. So try putting it in again.
Will not accept my ex-spouses SSN, begins with a 0, drops it every time I put it in, says it's invalid.
JohnT55. Please follow the instructions given by Renee at this Turbo Tax link. Please keep in mind also that beginning Jan. 1, 2019, alimony or separate maintenance payments are not deductible from the income of the payer spouse, or includable in the income of the receiving spouse, if made under a divorce or separation agreement executed after Dec. 31, 2018 per IRS mandate.
