I had a central air unit installed. No panel boards or things like that. I put the QMID code, cost of the unit. Everything’s good…until line 25. I did not have enabling property, I check no. It still wants me to enter an amount for the cost, because air conditioner is checked as enabled property. If I uncheck that, I get no credit, if I leave it checked, I get an error. My taxes were initially rejected because of this.
also, I had new windows installed. I keep reading that I can use the17 digit PIN instead of a QMID, but how? Where do I type it. Arg. My 90 minute estimated time to do my taxes is up to like 12 hours. lol.

In order to install a central AC unit you do have to have the connections installed. You just had them installed a while back. Break off the labor for the installation for the enabling since what they're doing is hooking up the equipment.
TurboTax doesn't support that 17 digit PIN. You'll have to enter the QMID code if you want to get the full credit using TurboTax.
