Used my $500 energy efficient credit in 2010 - but it was a different house?
The Nonbusiness Energy Property Credit has a total combined credit limit of $500 for all tax years after 2005. If you have already claimed $500, there is no credit left for 2016. See IRS Instructions for Form 5695, Residential Energy Credits for more information.
