Hey question. Filed my taxes and forgot to claim the EIC. The irs sent me a letter and had me upload a document on there sit to claim for it. Do I need to do anything else or will they just mail me a paper check for it?

If the IRS has all the information they need, they will process your refund and send it to you or contact you if they need any additional information. I do not know what their current processing time is (they say they are behind), but I would recommend calling them in 30 days if you do not hear anything, just to make sure they have received the information.
Thank you. On the paper the sent it said they would send a separate paper check in 4-8 weeks so I just wanted to make sure
