E-file My 2025 Amendment

Instead of the approval notice i was expecting , Irs is " Reviewing" my tax return. The only thing that I can see now that maybe be the the discrepancy with my 1040 is the new " check if your home was in the U.S. for over half the 2025 year" was left un checked. (Thanks turbo tax for 100% accuracy)

Is this what caused the review ?? Wither way its not correct so I need to Efile a 2025 1040 X immediately. Tried to do that today but lo and behold. That section of turbo tax is not available. So how long until it is  ? Can I just go ahead and use a different third party to E-file ? When can I e file that 2025 e filed through turbo tax 1040 ??

If the IRS is reviewing your return, they may have questions about your wages and withholding, or credits or expenses shown on your tax return, or your return may have been selected for random review. It doesn't necessarily mean there was a discrepancy.

See this IRS webpage for additional information. They ask that taxpayers wait 60 days before contacting them to follow up.

So NOT Checking the box that says " Check this box if you, or your spouse if your filing jointly, house was in the U.S. for more than half the 2025 tax year. " Will not trigger a review to verify some information ? Im not waiting 60 days for that. I will e file my 1040X  through a different 3rd party.
