If the IRS requires you to fill out  the Form 8862 and you did not include it on your return, then your return will reject and you will be able to get back into your return and complete it. See below for instructions on how to find this form in TurboTax:

To find the 8862 in TurboTax:

1. Federal Taxes 
2. Deductions & Credits
3. You may need to click on Skip to see all tax breaks
4. Scroll down to You and Your Family and click on Show More
5. Earned Income Credit (EIC)
6. Start or update

 Follow the interview questions until you see the screen that asks "Do any of these uncommon situations apply? " Then choose that you need the 8862.
