"Disposing of business property"-"Did you dispose of any assets in 2022?"...If a business asset that was on your 2021 return is not income producing for 2022, do you still have to say you are disposing of it, or can you just leave it off your 2022 return

Also, what exactly are they considering an asset here? Is it just the bigger things?

This question is generic in nature. If you still own the business property (land, building, furniture, equipment, vehicle, etc.) then answer "No" and move forward with your return. You would report that you disposed of an asset only if you sold it or gave it away.

This question is generic in nature. If you still own the business property (land, building, furniture, equipment, vehicle, etc.) then answer "No" and move forward with your return. You would report that you disposed of an asset only if you sold it or gave it away.
