I have completed what I thought was all the sections (Turbo Tax Deluxe).  When I did a review it ask me about the providers information. Form 2441.

I was confused because I am the provider of my Grandchild for the entire year.  Well I filled in the blanks on Form 2441 and it came back saying the provider can not be the taxpayer,

Can you clarify what is going on?

It sounds like you tried to enter something for child and dependent care credit.  That is a credit you can get if you paid someone to take care of your child so you could work.  Is that what you need to enter?  If not, you can get rid of this form:

It was a little different, but the end result was you were right.  Once I deleted the form everything was good to go.
