claim parent as a dependent

My federal tax is rejected because my mom whom I claimed as my dependent is listed as my dad's spouse. My dad intentionally indicated he will not file jointly with my mom. What did I do wrong? Please help.

You MIGHT not have done anything wrong. I've seen quite a few similar situations this year. It may be a 'glitch' in the programming somewhere.

You will just need to file by mail.

My 25 yo son earned $5,000.25 in '23. The gross inc lmt for a person 2 b claimed a qualifying relative dependent was $4.7k. Is there any way to adjust his gross inc?
