Child Dependent Question

My husband and I are filing jointly.  We came across the question: How many months in 2016 did your dependents live with you.  They lived with me the whole year and we lived with my husband during the last 3 months of 2016.  Because we are filing jointly and our children lived with me the whole year, we should put the whole year, correct?  The question is asking about both of us, not just my husband, since we are filing together?
