I am a legal guardian for a child that was born in July of 2022 and I started providing full support in September so I have had him for 4 months of 2022. How do I claim this child?

Please explain when the child began living with you. Was that at the beginning of July----or not until September?
The Child was born in July but began living with me in September
Sorry----since you did not have the child for at least half the year in 2022 you will not be able to claim the child as a dependent for 2022 unless there are some circumstances you have not yet explained.
IRS interview to help determine who can be claimed:

WHO CAN I CLAIM AS A DEPENDENT?
You can claim a child, relative, friend, or fiancé (etc.) as a dependent on your 2022 taxes as long as they meet the following requirements:
Qualifying child
Qualifying relative
When you add someone as a dependent, we'll ask a series of questions to make sure you can claim them. There may be other tax benefits you can get when you claim a dependent.
