Child and Dependent Care Credit

I am a minister for a non profit organization.  I get reimbursed for Child Care.  The amount is included as part of my income in Box 1.  But it is also included in Box 10 of my W-2.  Can I still take the Child and Dependent Care Credit?

Yes, you may still be able to take the Child and Dependent Care Credit since the amount reimbursed is included in box 1 and 10 of your W-2. You will need to walk through the Child and Dependent Care Credit questions to determine the amount of the credit you are eligible for.
