I am working on my 2021 Taxes using TurboTax. I am entering my Donations and it is asking if any of my donations were to a Fraternal Order, a Veterans Group, or non-profit cemetery. I did make donations to the " Disabled American Veterans". Is that what they consider as a veterans group?

You can go to the IRS website Tax Exempt Organization Search to find charities for which you can deduct donations.

I don't need to know if it "is" a charitable donation....I know that already. I need to know if it is considered a "veterans group"
