Can I add charitable monetary donation to this year's taxes as a carryover that I did not file in 2020?

You can only deduct charitable donations in the year they were made unless you carried over deductions because you exceeded your allowed deduction from the previous year.

if i donated pants, shirts, suits and shoes, can i add them all up and list them under "clothing" or do i need to seperate them ie, 5 pants, 2 shirts, etc
