I contributed $1051 today for last year to an Arizona listed foster care entity and followed the guidance in this forum. I would have expected to see my refund increase by that $1051 amount, but it did not change. I inputted the name of the org, as well as the five-digit identifier. Not sure what to do at this point?

The charitable contribution reduces your tax liability which is not the same as increasing your refund. Please verify that your tax liability was $1,051 or more by checking line 46. See also forms and instructions. You might also need to verify that the state has forms done. Please see here.
First of all, thank you for your quick response.
This contribution, however, is supposed to be a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on my Arizona taxes.
V/R.
Yes. I am going to repeat my concern about your tax liability. When I look at the charity here, I see that it says dollar for dollar and it also says to reduce liability. AZ law says it reduces liability. If your liability is $1,051 or more, then we need to take a look and see where the problem lays. Are you able to see the forms and that they are filled out correctly or is the form needed not ready yet. So many possibilities at this point.
