Turbo Tax shows I am dead, wanting DOD. how to change? 

Also, my husband died 1/7/2020, Social Security sent his Dec.2019 check in  Oct. because they had to change name on check.

you probably tried to switch the order of names on your Joint return.

This cause lots of problems.

If you spouse died in 2020 then you can file a joint return  so if you are using an old account where HE was  listed first then do NOT switch places with him this year ... put him back in first position to avoid issues like this.  

Next tax year do NOT use the same account ... you must open a new account to list you in first position.
