Can you claim medical expenses and car taxes from 2-3 years ago

You cannot claim prior year expenses in the current year. The expenses can only be deducted in the year paid.

You may claim the expenses in the year you paid them. If you have already filed your taxes for those years , you may amend those years if your medical expenses are high enough and your sales taxes for the car are higher than your income taxes.
