Can I deduct VA medical Expenses? Co-pays and prescriptions?

If they're your out-of-pocket costs -- that is, not reimbursed by insurance or anyone else -- then, yes, you can deduct these expenses, as long as you itemize deductions.

Unless all of your itemized deductions, including medical expenses, add up to more than your standard deduction, you don't need to enter those expenses on your tax return.

Bear in mind, however, that some states allow you to itemize on your state tax return, even if you use the standard deduction on your federal return.
