Is this a bug? It works if I enter $0, but fails if I just completely delete the value in the box. Under the 2024 Property Tax column on may Deductions & Credits section, I can see that the real estate taxes have been duplicated. If I click on the amount, it lists tax paid on principal residence, and then repeats as real estate tax reported on form 1098, then subtracts a real estate tax deducted for the home office. Seems like the real estate tax should only be listed once. The 'Enter any additional property tax paid in 2024' screen clearly shows the tax which came from the 1098, but it won't let me delete the amount in the 'Additional property taxes on your home' . Only if I replace this amount with a $0 value, will it correct the amount shown under Property Taxes 2024 column in main Deductions & Credits page.
