delete the 2106. employees don't get the deduction  (certain exceptions apply ) and if you are self-employed the expenses go directly on Schedule C not form 2106.

    1. Sign in to TurboTax and open your return by selecting Continue or Pick up where you left off
    2. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools
    3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form
    4. Select Delete next to the form, schedule, and worksheet in the list and follow the instructions

Form 2106 is use when you have deductible expenses as an employee. If you are not claiming any expenses, to get rid of the error message, you must delete Form 2106. To delete Form 2106:

    1. Open your TurboTax account.
    2. "Pick up where you left off."
    3. In the panel on the left, select "Tax Tools."
    4. Tools > "Delete a form."
    5. Select Form 2106.
    6. Delete the form.
    7. Continue with your return.
