1099-R mailed 4/1/2024 with Dist Code G

I filed my taxes in February and today received 1099-R but two months after my taxes already filed. Box 2a shows $0 taxable and Box #7 Distribution Code G. Frustrating they mailed this so late. Do I need to file amended taxes?

No. Code G is a direct transfer and not taxable. Be sure to keep the 1099R with your tax return if the IRS ever asks about it.

If I didn’t get my refund yet in the mail and it has been 41 days do y’all think maybe there’s a issue going on?
