1098

I efiled through turbo tax with being able to enter my mortgage interest amount form my bank profile but now I received my official 1098 and taxes paid box 10 has a large number in it. Should I amend my return?

It depends. Did you itemize your deductions or take the standard deduction? If you itemized, it might make a difference, but if you used the standard deduction, unless it pushes you over the standard deduction amount, it won't make a difference.

You can always put the information in to see if it changes anything.
