I am trying to enter the tuition on a 1098 t.  I clicked on deductions and credits>education>scholarships, student loans, tuitions (1088 E and 1098 T) and then I click on view all.  I went thru all the questions but none of them allow me to enter the tuition in Box 1 of the 1098 t.  Why will it not let me enter the tuition?  It ask about expenses and scholarships but not the tuition.  When I check yes on books, supplies, and equipment and a blue link comes up with Tuition and Enrollment fees.  When I click on this it does not allow me to enter the tuition is states I already entered a value of $0.  How do I enter the tuition?

To file your 1098-T please follow the steps below:

1. Open (continue) your return, if you're not already in it.
2. In TurboTax, search for 1098T .
3. Click Jump to 1098T in the search results.
4. Answer any education questions that pop up (enrollment status, name of school, and so forth).

• If you land on the Education Expenses Summary screen, click Edit next to the student in question, then edit the Tuition item.
