1098 Mortgage and interest

Filed Fed & St (NC) this past weekend.

Yesterday I received noticed (email) that one of my 1098's mortgage & interest was filled out in error; "Box 2" incorrectly.

Q. Does an addendum need to be file?

Ran corrected numbers in TT. It did not adjust my return, this is why I'm asking.
