I'm exasperated with Turbo Tax right now! The in app help service is worthless! I'm following Turbo Tax instructions by entering & proof reading all entries into monthly fields for only the months I had insurance through government healthcare plan site (Jan-June), leaving July through December fields blank/empty exactly as they are on the 1095-A provided by WA Healthplan Finder account. Every time I hit continue, I get a fix the errors window that prevents me from progressing!

What am I (and so many others I see having the same problem on various tax forums) to do to get past this constant error screen?

The program sometimes likes zeroes and sometimes it prefers blanks. Try it both ways. You may also have another issue.   A full or corrupted cache can cause problems in TurboTax, so sometimes you need to clear your cache (that is, remove these temporary files).

For stuck information follow these steps:

Online version:

  1. Delete the form/ worksheet- if possible, see How to Delete
  2. Log out of your return and try one or more of the following:
    • Don't use Internet Explorer.
    • Clear cache and cookies,
    • Sign in using a different browser.
    • Sign in using a different device.
  3. Log back into your return.
    • Enter the information again.

Desktop version:

  1. Delete the form
  2. Save your return while closing the program.
  3. Update the program
  4. Open
  5. Enter the information again.
