Resident of FL & spend 4 months upstate NY in summer do I include both states sales tax on my return?

Yes.  You can add two states by entering dates to show 8 months in FL and 4 months in NY for the sales tax calculator. You can enter the sales tax rates or use the TurboTax link provided during entry to find your rates.

  • In TurboTax Desktop follow these steps to enter your sales tax:
    • In the search box top right type sales tax deduction
    • Jump to sales tax deduction
    • Follow the prompt to make your entries
