If i worked in Texas for most of 2016 and then moved to AZ, do i still need to file for State?
Yes, if your permanent residence is Arizona on December 31, you are required to file an Arizona State tax return.
However, Arizona will not consider you a resident if
your domicile (your primary residence) is in another state and you are in AZ
for fewer than 9 months during the year.
