Wisconsin Homestead Credit SSI

Why didn't Turbotax ask me in the interview questions for Wisconsin how much SSI Federal and State money I received? There was no place to enter this except for in the actual form.

If you received SSI, you would enter the numbers from your 1099-SSA in the Federal Section under Retirement Income by selecting the following:

• Federal
• Income
• Show More next to Retirement Income
• Start next to 1099-SSA

For the County Relief Payments, you will be able to enter this as you walk through the homestead credit section when asked Did you receive any Wisconsin Works payments of any amount or County Relief Payments of $400 or more in 2022.  You would answer yes, then you will be asked the number of months you received it.

To get to the Homestead Credit section, you will need to walk through the income section then you will come to the Credits section.
