Why does our TurboTax package work up info for Yonkers Surcharge and NYC Nonresident when we are Nassau county residents?

When we efile, will this info be submitted as part of the package?

Why does our TurboTax package work up info for Yonkers Surcharge and NYC Nonresident when we are Nassau county residents?

Your NY state return includes Yonkers and NYC. You need to mark that you are non-residents to avoid paying those taxes. As non-residents, lines 51-57 should be blank.
