Why do I owe State tax to Wisconsin when I claimed 0 all year. I work in WI but Live in Minnesota with my husband. He works in MN

My husband and I both make $50,000.00 at different jobs. We live in MN, He works in MN and I work in WI. We filed married Joint. The Minnesota refund is showing $400.00 because we got a "paying taxes in another state- credit". the Wisconsin refund says I owe $2,328.00 … I claimed 0 all year with no dependents and just worked across state lines. Why would we have a positive return in MN, but Owe money in WI?

It's possible, but seems unlikely.

Did you enter only your earnings in the "Wisconsin" column on your Wisconsin Form 1NPR?

Did you enter your Wisconsin W-2 correctly, particularly the information in Boxes 15-17?
