I live in one state, and work in another.  Which state do I file in?

You may have to file in both unless your employer withheld state taxes for your home state.  It also depends on whether your two states have a reciprocal agreement.

As a worker in a reciprocal state, you can fill out that state's exemption form and give it to your employer if you don't want them to withhold taxes for your work state.
