At your own risk
go into the control panel and then click on program and features
scroll down the list of installed programs and look for Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 (x86)
highlight with mouse
click on uninstall (you won't be uninstalling it)
there should be an option to repair
click on it
that should do it. It's worked for others
if not, do the same for the x64 version
