TurboTax website

Why does TurboTax send you to the file online page when you log in?  I was on the Community help page and it said to log in to ask a question.  I logged in and the website put me on the "file online" page -- started asking me questions about whether I want to maximize my deductions and whether I donated to charity.  I had to do a web search to find the community support page I was on before logging in!  When I got here, I was already logged in.  Now, I went back to that "file online" page for 10 seconds and despite the fact that I'm typing here, that page was about to log me out!

TurboTax needs to fix these pages!

The U.S. Community landing/ sign-in page is https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/

The TurboTax Online landing/sign-in page is https://turbotax.intuit.com/

Sometimes signing out and trying again or using a different browser will resolve these issues.

Intuit needs to fix this.  It should also know, when I sign in, that I've been using the desktop Home and Business version for 20+ years, so I would not be interested in online filing.

There’s no way Turbo Tax would or should know that.   They are not allowed to see or use your personal info or account info especially if you used the Desktop program.   And a lot of people have to switch to Online this year since you need Windows 11 or Mac OS 14 to install the Desktop program.
