The state of Tennessee doesn't have a state income tax. Turbo tax will not let me e-file without entering a state ID number. Is there a way around this?

Leave boxes 15, 16 and 17 blank on the W-2 you are entering. If the program still gives you an error then delete the W-2 and re-enter the W-2 manually.
