I am required to file a Tennessee state tax return. When I filed federally, it stated that TN tax forms are not yet available. Is there an estimated time when the forms will be available so I can file?

    No, the Hall income tax was repealed as of January 1, 2021, so you do not need to file a Tennessee income tax return as an individual.

    If you need to file this tax form for a business, all of those state forms are available.

    I apologize for the confusion, the TN tax website still has a link to pay this tax, but if you dig a bit more, you find it was repealed.

    @Cathycherry123    @JulieS

    Try this again:

    ...There will be NO  TN 2021 Personal tax forms  !

    (Buisness TN S-Corp, -C-Corp &-Estate forms yes, but that's in the "Buisiness" Product and TN is available there))

    The Hall tax for personal tax returns has been repealed for 2021 and succeeding years.  That notice in the 2021 software is entirely false and seems to be a holdover from Prior years when there was one.

    Ignore it...don't attempt to download TN, and don't pay for TN state tax return  IF offered.
