I have efiled my federal and state taxes. Can I now use the same CD in my parents computer and file a federal and state for them?

The desktop software you have installed on your personal computer can be used to create, complete and file as many tax returns as needed.

To start another tax return, save the current return, click on File in the upper left of the desktop program screen.  Click on New Tax Return.

Yes, there will be an e-file charge of $24.99 to e-file a state return.  That can be avoided by printing and mailing the state tax return.

There are 5 free federal e-files included with the desktop editions.  After the 5 are used, any other tax returns can only be printed and mailed.
