I live in South Carolina and work in North Carolina and can't remember how to file my state taxes. Turbo tax does not seem to be as straight forward now as in the past.

You will complete a non-resident NC return first, then a resident SC return.  You will get credit in SC for taxes paid to NC.

NC can tax the income you earned in NC.  SC can tax ALL your income, including what you earned in NC.

In the Personal Info section of TurboTax, enter SC as your State of Residence, and indicate that you had Other State Income from NC (DO NOT indicate that you lived in another state).  This will cause the program to generate a non-resident NC tax return along with your home state SC return.

Then complete the non-resident NC return first, before you do your SC return.  This will result in SC crediting you for the tax paid to NC on the income taxable by both states.

Post back if you have any questions.
