State tax return sent to wrong adress

Hello,

I am a US-nonresident living in Europe. I have just realised that I have wrongly via DHL mailed the Massachusetts State tax return to the IRS processing centre in Kansas, instead of to the right address in Massachusetts (Massachusetts DOR, 200 Arlington Street, Chelsea, MA 02150). What can I do now?

The IRS will not forward the state tax return for you. They will discard the state tax return.

Mail the state tax return to the correct address.

Thank you for your answer. What does this mean for the original W-2 and 1042-S documents?

Can I sent them a copy of the documents I made or do I sent the original copy B (which is usually kept for. the taxpayers records) or do I have another option?
