The State of Indiana sent me a notification indicating that my Turbo Tax return was inconsistent with state records. It indicated that the Turbo Tax amount on line 12 was in error. Turbo Tax calculated the amount to be $4,302, while the state says it is $2,817 and says that I owe $1101.72 in the mistaken amount, penalty and interest. Since most, if not all, of the entries on my state form revert from my Federal form, it would seem that Turbo Tax was in error. Please assist me with rectifying this situation judiciously.
Thanks,
Neil

I, too, was sent a similar notification on 6/27. The state has adjusted my line 12 to "agree with their records" and had significantly changed my refund to a lower amount. There seems to be an issue somewhere....
