I filed my state return on 26 January, but it still hasn’t been accepted. Is there something wrong?

Most states only started accepting tax returns today (Feb 12), so it will take a while to clear the backlog.  Check back in a few days.

@Dawn62695 The IRS only began to accept federal returns on Monday January 23.  A state return cannot be accepted until the IRS accepts your federal.  It often takes a couple of days for the state to be accepted after the IRS accepts your federal return.  Keep watching your emails.

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
