State pending

I have filed, my federal has been approved but state is still pending. Its been several days and its still pending.... Why??

At the very start of the tax season (i.e. now), it can take the state up-to a week to respond after the Fed is "accepted".

In March..it would normally be within 48 hrs

I checked with my state on status of my return. It states they DON'T have a copy of my state return?

Is there a glitch in this years program?

If your state tax return is Pending then your state has not yet pulled the state tax return from the TurboTax server.
